Bogor Geulis with Warna Warni Indonesia Foundation

On Saturday, June 9, 2012, unusual events happened in Gambir Station. In the parking lot, there are a lot of vehicles which escort ladies from Warna Warni Indonesia foundation. That morning, they wanted to have a day trip to Batu Tulis and Bogor Palace which transited at Bogor Station. This event is called Bogor Geulis which was held by Warna Warni Indonesia Foundation and cooperated with PT Kereta Api Indonesia and PT Commuter Jabodetabek (PT KCJ).

This event started from 9 AM, and the group used the Extraordinary Train (KLB) which was provided by PT KCJ. This is a KRL 7000 series train which rolls along the commuter line in Bogor route. There are 300 peoples in the group and they went inside the train. Afterwards, Nina Akbar Tanjung from Warna Warni Indonesia Foundation gave a speech, followed by Ella Ubaidi from PT KAI and a representative from Cooperatives and Small and Medium-scale Enterprises Ministry. On the road, passengers gazed upon the views from Jakarta until Bogor. Moreover, booklets about Bogor Station were given to the passengers.
In her speech, Nina Akbar Tandjung sends her gratitude for the cooperation among Warna Warni Indonesia Foundation with PT KAI and PT KCJ. The same point of view was also given by Ella Ubaidi who appreciates Warna Warni Indonesia Foundation which showed a real act of campaign awareness of rail transportation to the society.

As the group arrived at Bogor Station, they were welcome with a fascinating art show of Rampak Gendang. The group really enjoyed the short visited at Bogor Station before they entered the bus which brings them to Batu Tulis and Bogor Palace. After their farewell, Nina Akbar Tanjung and her group took a picture together along with the representatives from PT KAI and PT KCJ. They hoped that this cooperation could still be take place in the future.
